We will be discussing death in all its many aspects.
Come to Conscious Cafe to drink tea, eat cake or biscuits & discuss death in all its many aspects, both practical & esoteric. On this evening, focusing on death may help you to make the most of your life & help others to do the same. Expect a lot of laughter that may surprise you!
The evening will be led by Lina Newstead a yoga teacher who has had a lifelong interest in death and is enthusiastic to facilitate this discussion.
As a well spent day brings happy sleep,
so life well used brings happy death.
Please note this event is not suitable for people who are recently bereaved or who still are grieving. If this is you please do contact a bereavement counsellor who can help.
Cost £7.00 (concessions available if requested)
We will meet at the Chef’s Academy training school at The Canterbury Academy campus, Knight’s Avenue, CT2 8QA.

It is interesting to note that this time of year there are numerous celebrations notably Christmas but also Hanukkah and Diwali. The human spirit has a need to celebrate and we invite you to discuss this topic and to work on understanding what celebrations mean to us and how perhaps we can make them even better!
